I’d love to share a little about who I am and why I created Cornerstone Claim Solutions LLC.

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to have a business of my own. I didn’t know what it would be—I just knew I wanted it to be something meaningful and fulfilling. As I got older, I realized the thing that lights me up most is helping people. There’s nothing like being able to support someone, ease their stress, and see them feel hopeful again.

That passion first led me into mental health, where I worked with people who needed guidance and support. Over and over, I heard things like, “Sheena, I’m so glad you’re here—your presence really helps.” Those moments reminded me I was right where I was meant to be.

A few years later, I became a mom to my daughter, Kyah, and I also began training in Emergency Medical Services. Today, I still work in the medical emergency field as an EMT. I care for people in their most vulnerable moments, and knowing I’m making a real difference brings me so much purpose. I truly love what I do.

But as a single mother, I also needed a way to create more financial stability—so I started learning about real estate and real estate investing. During that journey, I discovered something that honestly shocked me: foreclosure surplus funds exist, and many former homeowners have no idea they may be owed money after their home is sold at auction. I’ll be real—I thought it sounded like a scam at first too. So I did what I always do: I researched, learned the process, and made sure it was legitimate.

And that’s when it clicked for me: this is another way I can help people—especially people who have already been through something incredibly stressful.
